DJ · Producer · Eiffel 65 · Bliss Corporation . Active 1992 to present.
Gabry Ponte co-founded Bliss Corporation in 1992 in Turin and became the DJ and producer face of Eiffel 65 when 'Blue (Da Ba Dee)' hit Europe in 1999. He was the trio's club anchor, the rhythm side of the production while Maury Lobina shaped the melodies and Jeffrey Jey sang.
In parallel to the band, Gabry built one of the biggest solo dance careers in Italy. His debut solo album in 2002 produced 'Time to Rock' and 'Geordie.' His 2005 single 'Doctor Jekyll & Mister DJ' with Little Tony lived on European radio for the better part of a year and was, for the BlissCo forum in 2005-2006, the soundtrack everyone was either championing or politely tolerating.
Gabry left Eiffel 65 in 2005 to focus on his solo work, a move that quietly contributed to the band going dormant by 2006. The forum noticed. His departure was discussed on the off-topic board the way departures usually are: with affection, gossip, and a lot of speculation about whether he'd come back. (When Eiffel 65 reunited in 2010, he did not.) He continues to produce and DJ in Europe.

Threads ranked by how many of their posts we attributed to each one. Counts are from the reconstructed captures, so they're a floor, not a ceiling.
Computed by looking at which other members showed up most often in the same threads they did. A rough proxy for who they talked to, not a stated friendship.
