I'm the one writing this site. I joined the BlissCo Forum in 2003 as a kid in the United States who'd fallen in love with 'Blue (Da Ba Dee)' a few years earlier and gone looking for whatever else was out there. The forum was the answer to that question, and most of the answers I'd ever get to that question.
I met Vanessa here a few months after I signed up. We were roughly the same age. She made music. I made websites. We became close enough that, somewhere along the way, I built her a fan site, and a few months after that I started a parallel community of my own (DragonSiblings) that she joined and posted in for years. We were friends until she passed in 2007.
After 2007, I kept her music safe across every computer I owned. In late 2025 I finally started doing something about it. The catalog at vanessathemusician.com is real because friends from this forum kept their copies safe for twenty years and sent them back when I asked. This site exists for the rest of you — the rest of the room. If you were here, write in. Even just a hello.
